LNG Terminal

For the latest large-scale LNG project, Schwanner designed and manufactured vacuum insulated piping (VIP) for an LNG liquefaction terminal.

Overall pipeline length: 12 km (7.5 miles)

Inner pipe diameters: 24” (DN600) and 20” (DN500)

Number of spools: 440

Heat ingress: < 2.5 W/m²

Design pressure: 19 bar (276 psi)

Project timeline:
- Engineering design: 4 months
- Pipe manufacturing: 12 months
- On-site installation: 6 months
